Cons: Semrush is expensive and the free version doesn't offer anything interesting. Free trial is not truly free, just a refund when not satisfied.

Cons: Historical data from the AI Brand Performance module was retroactively altered between exports, causing significant discrepancies in tracked metrics.

Cons: Pays $517 a month for Semrush. Discovered that historical data from the AI Brand Performance module had been retroactively altered. Two exports of the identical May 9 dataset produced completely different results. Gemini share of voice dropped from 8.2% to 0%, Google AI Mode sentiment dropped from 96.1% to error message, ChatGPT sentiment dropped from 78% favorable to 0%.

Pros: If you're familiar with SEO it's very easy to use, as it's so popular there are a lot of helpful guides and blog posts to get the most out of the platform

Cons: Each tool has their own strengths. One con would be concurrent project limitations. Also you're better off using crawling software like screaming frog or lumar for your tech insights
